Notice the picture. I have used this picture in a previous blog. This is an epic picture.
This picture signifies the last picture I took with my camera that I could actually see in the LCD screen. Moments after I took this photo, I switched Jason spots on that very tall platform. I also was very foolish and left my camera in my pocket.
The result was the demise of my LCD screen.
For 7 long months Jason and I have been taking pictures with my camera and hoping for the best. Hoping no one is blinking or making a funny face because we really can't see what we are taking pictures of. It's like I'm living life on the edge somehow.
Well, a day after my birthday, I finally have all the parts to fix this heinous crime. I ordered an LCD that was compatible for my camera, and Jason and I had the hardest time finding those teeny, little screwdrivers.
So sorry for the lack of pictures of fixing my camera (Obviously I couldn't take pictures of my camera while I'm fixing it! DUH!)
So here is the sample that guided me through the process.

By no means do I want you to watch a boring clip on YouTube of some guy with freaky long fingernails fix a camera- but just in case- its there.
So here's what I could take pictures of though:
This is the screen. Obviously the offending one. This shape on the screen was the only thing that would appear when I would turn it on. I'm really glad its gone!
And here is all the utensils I used. My favorite was the tweezers.
So here's to fixing things that ARE broke!

Sarah you are my HERO! You can do ANYTHING you put your mind to! I want to be just like you when I grow up!! YOU ROCK!!
Yeah! I am glad that you finally got your camera fixed. And I hope you had an amazing birthday! I am sorry I couldn't send you the best present ever - a real card in the mail. I sent you ecards since I didn't have your address. But I still love you all the same.
GOOD! I can't wait to see some pictures of what you are doing and where you are going. Moms need to know these things so they can sleep at night. Oops! did I say sleep at night. What's that?
Man, if I knew you could do that I would have sent you Josh's camera. When we were on the Matterhorn at Disneyland I foolishly had his camera in my side pocket as well. Of course I bumped up against the walls of the car we were in and I did the exact same thing to his poor camera. We ended up shipping it to some guy in California who charged too much. Next time I am turning to you. You do ROCK!!!
