Volksmarch Revisited

Myers' 2nd Annual Volksmarch up to Crazy Horse... sure this was the 26th year that the Volksmarch has been going on, but only the 2nd year that Jason and I have done it.

It was pretty fun that we got to go with friends of ours, so it was nice to have the company.

We started off at the hottest part of the day, and it was a rather warm day. Very smart on our part.

Jason set the pace, and we all tried to keep up :(

We eventually made it to the top... and took a breather... uh, I mean scenic detour...

But Jason and I had lots of fun, and maybe a little sunburned :)

We'd Like to Announce Our NEW Addition...

So Jason and I are pretty stoked about our latest project we've been working on together....

Before you get the wrong idea, here's the finished project:

This is the "reception desk" for lack of a better word at my job. Jason did a good job with it, and I helped stain it. Great team work right there.

Job well done if I do say so myself.

In a Hairy Situation...

Sometimes it becomes quite obvious when it is time for a hair cut... and this is one of these times!

Behold the perfectly round hair like unto a globe...

Jason has been working on his fro... and isn't it spectacular?

So here was round one of cutting off the luscious locks:

We thought of leaving it like this, but I am no beautician and I know there was plenty uneven ends!

But have no fears, Jason got his traditional haircut.

End result... pretty classy.
