Jason and me went and saw all his early year haunts. This is the playground to his elementary school. It also had the cross country course really close by that we walked that as well. Everybody loves a good jaunt through a woodsy area and some play time on this super slider thing. As you can see by the look on my face I'm either utterly terrified or on the other side of the spectrum, totally digging the ride. I scoot a little better than Jason... OK, not really, but I can pretend.
The next adventure was Gettysburg. It was about 30 minutes (ish) away from Jason's house so it was a must on the agenda. This is a picture of the whole gang that went to Gettysburg. Starting on the left, Jason's brother Rob, Rachel, Karen, Kate on the lap, Morgan, Jared, Vo Nique, Beth, Cardell, ME, Mary, Jason, and Laura. This is a wall surrounding the cemetery there.

This just shows how in Pennsylvania (and maybe in the East in general) how the skies are pretty, but kind of hazy and fuzzy. You don't get a crisp sunset, and the colors are a little dull compared to Utah sunsets. But there's lots of fields and prettiness that Utah can only dream to achieve. Pretty mild, but still real pretty.

This is where the wedding reception was. We were decorating, but got distracted with these rollers. Of course there had to be a challenge to see who was the best, the faster, the greatest (no pressure at all) and Jason cheated, but the last picture really shows the true winner... ME!!!! While Jason lays on the floor in defeat.

But later we went to Washington DC. Never in my life did I think I would go there. Here is me and Jason. We were pretty tired. We had to wake up at 5 to take people to the airport (that means 3 am Utah time). We were pretty sleepy and tired by 2 pm...

Here's the Capitol Building with a nice reflecting pool... you get the idea!
Well, here's some wedding pictures. This is Jason's whole family... and I just happened to be included in the pictures (you can assume and insinuate all you want about that).
But the last of my adventures was cutting hair. I cut my first person's hair and I didn't to a bad job, but it wasn't perfect. You can see the before and after pictures. Jason's mom was pretty happy that he was getting a hair cut...
Before
AfterI did a pretty good job. Fun trip, and fun memories.
