The Wedding Blog

So I've been married for almost a month now... and I finally have my wedding pictures so I can do the traditional wedding blog.

Getting ready beforehand was a little nerve-wracking. I was kind of in a daze, but I'm sure glad I had my sister to help. I'm not sure if my smile was a fake smile, or I'm just trying to cover up my nervousness. But Susie really did a really great job. Kudos to her!

But of course, I couldn't forget all about the Chucks. I'm glad they finally came through for the wedding. The irony is I haven't worn them since the wedding... who can blame me? I just don't want to be tromping around in the mud with my new blue shoes.

But we got some pictures outside and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. The weather was so warm and nice that I think I really lucked out. And look at that backdrop... who could for anything better. You've got to love Logan!

Well... not to say about this one, but its just super fun.

But here's Jason's family. Don't they look snappy!

And the Pincock clan... a small army.

So between his family and my family, we had a pretty good showing.

But I thought it went really well. The the stressful moments don't seem as big anymore, so I do have to thank time for that. But, thank you everyone for all the help and support for the big day. All you're guys help. It really made it a great day.

I Promise... I'm Still Alive!

So I've finally found the time to blog. Between moving and settling into SoDa, I've been pretty busy. But no job yet. I don't have any of the wedding pictures to put up yet, I have to wait till I'm in Utah to get those... but I do have some from here in SD... So enjoy!

Here's my kitchen. We were cleaning it... the cupboards were a little gross. Coffee granules everywhere. But we have our appliances put into all the cupboards. My favorites we've used so far is a mini rice cooker... it's super cute, and the George Foreman...man, does that man know how to grill!!!

This was a day it snowed!!! My little car can only handle so so much snow... It got so bad that Jason had to push my car up the rest of the hill. Frustrating, but we survived.

For all those worried about Jason's long hair... he finally got a haircut. He'll try to tell you that I gave him the haircut, but after me trying for a minute he took the clippers away from me and show me up... I guess I'll get it down eventually. But this boy sure does have A LOT of hair. I was pretty surprised!

And we've documented some of our eating adventures. We tried making a Stovetop casserole type thing. I usually use sour cream with the cream of chicken soup, but we didn't have any...who knows why, but it made perfect sense to me at the time to add milk to the mixture to thicken it up! Well, instead we had soup at the bottom. So it was like a chicken and dumplings over soup... but now I know! (Please note Colette: Notice the yellow tea kettle.... LOVE IT!!!!!!)

But we're doing good. It's been a fun adventure so far, but I sure do know that there are even more to come!
